FTTC & FTTP
Fibre to the Green Cabinet (FTTC)
Fibre to the Green Cabinet (FTTC) is the most common type of internet connection across the UK. In this setup, your internet service provider (ISP) connects your home or business to a nearby green cabinet, and an Openreach engineer then delivers the broadband to your property via a traditional copper telephone line.
The speed you can achieve depends on the distance between your property and the green cabinet. We offer two speed options to cater to your needs: one providing speeds of up to 40Mbps and the other offering speeds up to 80Mbps.
Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)
Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) is gradually replacing the old copper telephone lines by bringing fibre directly into your home or business. This eliminates the need for a traditional copper telephone line, especially as more phone services switch to VoIP (Internet Calling).
Although FTTP isn’t as widely available as FTTC just yet, Openreach is working hard to extend its coverage throughout the UK.
FTTP packages start with speeds of 40Mbps, with options available up to 1000Mbps, providing faster and more reliable internet to meet your specific needs.
